TSA OPS Playbook

The TSA Ops Playbook was a rewarding and impactful project focused on enhancing national aviation safety. Working alongside Homeland Security, our team conducted immersive, on-the-ground research—walking every inch of Denver International Airport to deeply understand TSA workflows and identify potential threat scenarios. By applying Lean UX principles, we engaged TSA agents and leadership throughout the design process, iterating based on real-time feedback to ensure the solution aligned with operational realities. While the app went through multiple rounds of revisions, each iteration brought us closer to a tool that was comprehensive, intuitive, and mission-critical. The final product housed a robust database of potential threat scenarios, empowering TSA teams with fast, informed decision-making in any situation. This collaborative, user-centered approach helped create a playbook that made the skies safer and TSA teams more prepared than ever.
